The Grace, Hopewell , and Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Churches are served by Charles Bradley, an ordained minister and member of the Tennessee - Alabama Presbytery. This year Mr. Bradley begins his twenty-second year of pastoral ministry, fourteen of which have been with the Hopewell congregation.
Mr. Bradley took an A.S. from the Culinary Institute of America, the B.A. from the University of Biblical Studies , and an M.Div. degree from Whitefield Theological Seminary, Lakeland, Florida. He did his ministerial internship through the Church of God in Michigan. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, serves on the board of directors of Hope Clinic, and is the stated clerk of the Tennessee - Alabama Presbytery.
He entered the ministry in response to the call of God from a career in the hospitality industry where he worked as a working executive chef and vocational instructor. This work took the Bradleys to several parts of the country. They have lived in Texas, Delaware, West Virginia, Michigan and Indiana before settling in Culleoka, Tennessee.
Mr. Bradley's other interests include star gazing, watercolor painting, gardening and short wave radio listening.
He is married to the former Sandy Fisher of Nappannee, Indiana. They will celebrate their thirty-first anniversary in December of 2005. Together they have four children ranging in age from 16 to 25.
